AI Makerspace Hours
The AI Makerspace is Open Again!
The CSE AI Makerspace is a hybrid physical and digital learning space where University of Minnesota students can learn, experiment, and create with AI.
What students can do here:
- Work on guided or self-directed projects
- Access high-powered computing resources through MSI, AWS, Azure, and more (submit proposals here)
- Use edge devices, sensors, robots, GPU workstations, and collaborative space
- Build skills through workshops, certifications, and expert technical support
The AI Makerspace is designed for everyone—from beginners to advanced users. Whether students are exploring AI for the first time or developing complex projects, they’ll find resources and support to grow their skills.
Faculty & Instructor Opportunities
We’re looking to collaborate on:
- Guided or class-related projects
- Customized activities for your course or lab visit
- AI instructional support (mentoring, faculty office hours, project advising)
