As artificial intelligence continues to reshape education and the workforce, the University of Minnesota is committed to preparing students, educators, and lifelong learners to confidently and responsibly engage with AI. Through the AI Hub, the University is bringing together expertise from across disciplines to expand AI literacy, support innovative teaching, and create meaningful learning opportunities for the entire University community.

To help lead this work, Vlad Griskevicius has been named Director of Teaching and Learning for the AI Hub.

In this role, Griskevicius will lead the Hub's teaching and learning pillar, helping shape how artificial intelligence is integrated into education across the University. His work will focus on fostering collaboration among faculty, expanding AI learning opportunities, and supporting the development of educational experiences that prepare learners for an AI-enabled future.

"The future of AI in higher education is ultimately about people, not technology. I am excited to partner with faculty and staff across the university to help us be effective teachers, enrich our students’ learning, and prepare our graduates for success in an AI-enabled world."
